Individual psychotherapy sessions typically last between 45 and 50 minutes. The frequency and duration of therapy will depend largely on your needs, treatment goals, and progress. Many concerns are readily resolved with short-term therapy, and other chronic or more complex concerns require long-term commitment before improvement is realized.

No. Giving Hope Counselling Services strictly follows the Counsellors Professinal Code of Ethics and will not release information regarding contact with a client without permission from the client.

Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment to complete information forms. This will help the therapist know the reason(s) you are seeking services and how s/he can assist you. The therapist will meet with you for approximately 50 minutes. At this first session you will be asked questions to clarify your current situation and past history. The therapist will discuss treatment options with you. We will make every effort to see that you receive the best available care.

The founder of Giving Hope Counseling Services is a christian and married with children for over 25 years. He holds a Diploma in Marriage & Family Therapy, Bachelor of Commerce degree, Master of Arts degree in Sociology (Counseling) and his PHD in Marriage & Family Therapy is on going. He has more than seven years experience of successfully counselling and resolving issues of individuals, groups, families and marriages.
